The 15th Annual Golf for Hope, which is the longest running fundraiser for the ministries of Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission, is fast approaching. Currently, we’ve received about $10,000 in door prizes, however, financial sponsorships are very slim. I can not stress to you enough how crucial of a moment TGRM is in. Your support of this event is needed, not just to make the event successful, but also to strengthen TGRM’s ability to reach out even further to meet the needs of those who are homeless, hurting, and in need right here in the Toledo area.
Being 100% donor funded, the economic uncertainty has taken a toll on us all, but none as much as those who were already struggling to meet basic needs. Words can not do justice to the level of desperation and fear we are seeing across all of our ministry areas. Daily homeless mothers with their children are getting shelter and care through Rebekah’s Haven, homeless men are receiving basic emergency shelter and the opportunity to join a life recovery program, families in need of clothing and household items receive support through the Mission Mall, and drug addicts as well as lonely and hurting people are receiving support through the TGRM Outreach Center.
All of these ministries need you; your financial support, your physical presence, and your prayer support!
