Welcome to another beautiful day in the neighborhood. It’s beautiful because you’re my neighbor and you’re part of it.
I’m going to give you some suggestions that are easy to make, but may take real effort on your part. In this time of trouble and uncertainty we need to look for the positive, the blessings.
People are
looking out for each other, checking on family, friends, neighbors, fellow
church members, etc. Since we are under a stay-at-home order we have the
opportunity to talk to each other, to play with each other. Look for the
blessings that are coming your way and be grateful for them. Have compassion
for others and help wherever and however you can.
What we are going through will bring about changes, maybe major changes. Embrace those changes. Remember all change is for the better. Be positive, be grateful, be optimistic.
If you are
able to get out because of work or just going to get groceries ask a family
member, friend or neighbor if you can pick up something for them.
The
best portion of a good man’s life: His little, nameless, unremembered acts of
kindness and of love.” William
Wordsworth
If you are
feeling down, depressed, lonely, call a friend. Reach out to others. It will
help both of you.
The most called-upon prerequisite
of a friend is an accessible ear. Maya Angelou
Look for
the positive, the blessings. Be positive, be grateful, be optimistic. Reach out
to others.
Have a blessed week.
Peace,Terry
