Girls’ August Event: Sunday, August 11th, Noon
Kayaking at Farnsworth Metro Park
Route 24, Waterville (Boat Launch entrance, then turn left by playground)
We will have a picnic lunch then go
kayaking. Please bring a dish to share.
Sandwiches, drinks, and table service
provided. Kayaking is $15/person or
$20/tandem for 1 hour. Sign up sheet is
posted in the sanctuary.

of 4th Thursday Meal!
Lasagna Prep: Tuesday, September 24th at 6:30 at HCC.
Serving/Clean up: Thursday, September 26th 4:30 at
First Presbyterian Church, Grand Rapids.

Girls’ October Event:
Propel Women’s Conference
Grand Rapids, MI
Friday-Saturday, October 4th-5th
We will carpool and leave early on Friday, Oct 4 to drive to
Grand Rapids, do some shopping, and check in to our
hotel. The Propel Women’s Conference, “Activate 2019”
begins at 9:30 am on Saturday so we will return late that
evening. Cost for the conference is $79.95 (with a $10
discount if 15 or more of us attend) but the cost increases
to $94.95 after 8/18. So please sign up before Aug 16 so
we can get the early bird and group discount.
Men’s Breakfast & Ladies’ Lunch
All men are welcome to attend a time of fellowship and
breakfast on the first Tuesday of each month, meeting at
9:00 a.m. at Briarfield Café in Maumee.
Ladies Lunch will meet at 11:30 am on the first Tuesday of
each month at Bob Evans at Levis Commons.
