We will meet for 6 weekly sessions, beginning July 9th and concluding on the Feast of the Assumption (August 15th). The cost of the book is $27.00. Family Choir: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a part of the choir, but you wanted to try it without the commitment? Now is your chance to try it out and get a feel of what it’s like to support our congregation each week in celebrating the Mass. For the months of July and August, we will have a Family choir for the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays. “Family” means the whole family (rising Third Graders and up) is welcome to come sing with us. All that’s required is a desire to add to the Mass experience. (A reasonable ability to sing is helpful.) What you need to do: For the Sundays beginning July 7th and running through August 25th, arrive at church, in the choir area at 11:00 a.m. We’ll run through the music for that morning’s Mass and then we’ll be ready to go! Just be prepared to sing your praise to God – it’s that simple! Don’t worry, no robes involved. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Merrilee Jaskulski at mjaskulski@stjoesylvania.org.
Father Marty Nassr will present “Incarnation The Mystery of God’s All-Embracing Love,” a mid-Summer Retreat weekend for Women and

It begins early Friday evening and ends with a closing Mass late Sunday morning, August 9-11, 2019, at the Regina Spirituality & Conference Center on the Sylvania Franciscan campus, 6832 Convent Boulevard, Sylvania, OH 43560.
The mystery of the Incarnation can revolutionize the way we pray, and the way we are to live our faith in relation to others. Join us as we explore the richness of this central Mystery of our Faith, gleaning insights from Pope Francis, Father Ron Rolheiser, Saint Theresa of Avila, Sister Joyce Rupp, and many other spiritual guides.
