Held weekend #31 September 20-23. This is an opportunity for us to follow God’s Word and bring His Good News to those that reside at Toledo Correctional.
The Kairos program is a 3 ½ day course in Christianity conducted by a team made up of laymen and clergy in cooperation with the staff at the facility. Twenty-four men will participate in this program that has changed the lives of many who have gone through it. From one of the participants: “I came into the weekend upset, no hope and in pain. I’m taking away peace of mind, joy, and Jesus.” And from Matthew 25:36- “I was in prison, and you visited me.”
How can you participate with us?
o Pray- the ministry relies on prayer to bring His Word to the men behind bars. This is His ministry!
o Volunteer- The ongoing ministry depends on getting new volunteers to become a member of the team.
o Bake Cookies- we take cookies into the facility and those “Jesus Cookies” can transform the entire population for the entire weekend!
o Donate- the weekend and ongoing ministry is funded entirely by the volunteer team. We depend on the team, various church congregations, private, and business donations to help offset the cost of the weekend.
