Rally Day: Join us for worship, food, fun, and games as we kick off our 2018-2019 Sunday School year!
Girls’ August Event: Sunday, August 12th, Noon Kayaking at Farnsworth Metro Park Route 24, Waterville (Boat Launch entrance, then turn left by playground) We will have a picnic lunch then go kayaking. Please bring a dish to share. Sandwiches, drinks, and table service provided. Kayaking is $15/person or $20/tandem for 1 hour. Sign up sheet is posted in the sanctuary.
Girls’ September Event: “Fourth Thursday” Mission Meal Thursday, Sept. 27th, 4 p.m. Served in Grand Rapids.
Girls’ October Event: Overnight Trip to Hocking Hills Friday-Saturday, October 19th-20th All ladies are welcome to attend a road trip down to the beautiful Hocking Hills area of Southern Ohio to see the changing of the leaves! We will be staying overnight at the Holiday Inn Express in Logan, OH. Cost is approximately $50 per person. We will leave Friday morning, and return Saturday evening. Other activities include exploring and sightseeing at Hocking Hills State Park, and of course, shopping! Sign up sheet is posted. See Pastor Jenny with questions.
Outdoor Family Movie Nights! Join us for our next family-friendly movie night! We will project the movie on the back outside wall of the church, so bring a blanket or lawn chair. HCC Youth will be selling candy, water, pop, and popcorn to benefit the youth fund. August 17th, 8:00 p.m. “Miracle Season” An inspirational story about a volleyball team that overcomes adversity and loss.
