The donations, as in the past, go to support Heartbeat and The Pregnancy Center who support women with unplanned pregnancies. These organizations offer pregnancy tests, ultrasound, support, counseling, and education to assist mothers, fathers, and their babies. Please fill the bottles with cash and checks. The bottles can be brought back anytime between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day weekend. There will be a box in the back of the church to put the bottles in or you may take them to the Parish Center. The Toledo YES Project The Toledo Yes Project is a 501 (C)(3)nonprofit that brings together high school students from around the Toledo area for a Catholic service retreat. During this retreat, students complete community service projects for local organizations and homeowners. Service projects range from painting houses to cleaning and organizing, to gardening. This year St. Patrick of Heatherdowns is hosting this project from July 18-July 21. Each year there are between 140-150 high school students and 60-80 adults serving others during the day and doing spiritual and social activities in the evening. Check out our website toledoyesproject.org or visit our Facebook page to learn more! If you or someone you know could use our help, please visit our website and download the site application. If you are an adult and you would like to help, visit our website, email us at toledoyesproject@gmail.com, or call the Parish Office.

Are you a Catholic homeschooling family in the Toledo diocese? Then please join us at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo for our 14th Annual Diocesan Homeschooling Mass and Graduation. Reverend Monsignor William J. Kubacki will be celebrating our Mass. It’s a wonderful evening of prayer, fellowship, food, and fun! Please bring a finger-food dish to share for the reception immediately following the Mass. If you have a student who will be graduating 8th grade, or a graduating high school senior, and would like your graduate to participate in the ceremony after the Mass, please email Lisa-Ann Brickner at oyc81@yahoo.com by May 25th. We can’t wait to see you there!
