ChurchClipartWorld Day of Prayer for Vocations: On Sunday, April 22, 2018, the Catholic Church throughout the world celebrates the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The purpose of this special day of prayer is to fulfill publically the instruction of Jesus who said: “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38) Please pray in a special way on this day for a renewed spirit of generosity in our community, so that we may all follow in the example of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, who dedicated His life to serving others.
