Group is collecting unwanted treasures throughout the month
Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet, a non-profit organization (founded in 1978) that provides shelter, spay/neuter services and veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan while they await adoption in a free-roaming shelter environment with an outdoor cattery and fenced dog yard. The group also helps pet parents and people caring for community cats with spay/neuter and veterinary care through a spay/neuter fund and a Vet-A-Pet fund.
WHAT
Time to clean out basements, garages, attics and closets: Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet is collecting unwanted treasures for the annual Rummage Sale that takes place the last weekend in August. Shop a huge selection of items including the contents of a children’s consignment store marked at half off the consignment prices.
WHEN
DROP-OFF DATES:
· Thursday, August 20 – Sunday, August 23, 2015· 12 – 5 pm· Items also may be dropped at the shelter (5250 Hill Avenue near Reynolds) Wednesday through Saturday from 12 – 5 pm; pick-up may be available by calling 419-537-9663.

WHY
The annual Rummage Sale is a critical source of operating funds for Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet and has a very “green” purpose helping to reduce, reuse and recycle.
