Pope Francis released an encyclical – a papal letter – on June 18. Laudato Si-Praised Be: On the Care of the Common Home discusses the environment in general and ecology and climate change, in particular. The third in a five-part series discussing this encyclical will be held tonight at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of St. Francis.

The series will be facilitated by members of the Toledo Chapter of the Association of U.S. Catholic Priests’ (AUSCP) Social Justice Subcommittee, including Fr. John Blaser, Fr. Marty Donnelly, Sr. Sharon Havelak, Fr. Tom Landgraff, Tom McDonald, Fr. Dick Notter, Fr. Bob Reinhart, Rose Underwood, and Mike Wielgopolski.

To get to Regina Hall, enter the campus at the Franciscan Center entrance on Convent Boulevard and follow the signs for Queen of Peace Chapel. Park in the circle drive in front of the chapel and enter through the double glass doors where Madonna and Umbria Halls intersect. Turn left when in the building and follow the signs to the Regina Hall Conference Room.
