AA Renewed Mind, a regional behavioral health provider headquartered in Perrysburg, Ohio, is employing technology to provide services as well as keeping its offices open to serve clients in Toledo, Findlay, Perrysburg, and Bowling Green plus those in the Four County area of northwest Ohio.

A Renewed Mind offers services via phone, computer or tablet for the protection and well- being of both our staff and our clients. If a prospective, new client wishes to complete an assessment without coming into the office they can do so by phone, tablet or computer or come into the office.

Youth Suicide on the Rise

I recently attended a conference in Columbus with multiple behavioral healthcare providers from across Ohio. During the initial Keynote Address, Director Lori Criss from the Ohio Department of Mental health and Addiction clearly outlined Governor DeWine’s plan to address mental health and addiction for Ohioans. Of particular concern was the growing numbers of Suicide in Ohio, especially among youth. While I had experienced some of this disturbing trend in parts of northwest Ohio, the National picture was less clear.
