The community of greater Toledo Area will again come together for the 25th Annual Northwest Ohio Prayer Breakfast in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. The Northwest Ohio Prayer Breakfast has become a premier local event that sees between 750 and 1,000 local business and community leaders in attendance. This year’s event will again be held at the Premier Banquet Center (formerly called Gladieux Meadows) on Heatherdowns Blvd., on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 6:45 – 9:00 a.m. with the main event from 7-8:45 a.m. and 15 minutes of networking before and after. We are very excited to announce that our speaker for this year’s event is Krish Dhanam, a recognized expert in the field of human engineering and human development. As a curriculum designer he has worked with some of the brightest minds in the training and development space and authored programs on sales, service, staff development, presentation skills and leadership. The Prayer Breakfast provides a great opportunity to connect with others in the community while enjoying a great sit-down, breakfast. Lent Services will be offered on Wednesday evenings from March 12 through April 9 at Community of Christ Lutheran Church. A four week Lenten sermon series based on the new movie “Son of God” will be presented, along with video clips from the movie. Worship starts at 7:00 PM, with a supper at 6:00 PM. All are welcome.
