Welcome Crafters/Venders, Calvary Bible Chapel

CraftWe are inviting you to join us on Friday and Saturday September 29th & 30th  2017 for our 26h annual Craft Show at Calvary Bible Chapel 3740 W Alexis Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623

The two day rental is $40 (not including the ad) per 6’ space.  See attached registration form. Electricity is an additional $3.00 and a foyer or corner space is $47.00. A single day is $25.00.

We supply one table and 2 chairs per space.  We also have a limited number of 6’ tables to rent for $7 each if you a renting 2 spaces or more.

We will enter through the East doors under the canopy and start in the foyer, then move into the gymnasium with the rest of the crafters/venders and the Harvest CaféWe will start at Noon and end at 7 pm on Friday, allowing an hour for shopping after dinner. We will NOT be running our gently used sale during our craft show per request of both staff and crafters.  You spoke and we listened. This should increase sales for everyone. Continue reading »

Reformation Service and Celebration at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 220 Cedar Street, Pemberville

Church-newsSunday, October 29, at 4 p.m. with special music starting at 3:45 p.m., for a Reformation Service and Celebration at Bethlehem Lutheran Church,  220 Cedar Street, Pemberville. Sponsored by all the Lutheran churches in the Eastwood School district. The special message will be delivered by Bishop Daniel Beaudoin of the NWO Synod. Everyone is welcome to attend!  We welcome all for worship and we will commune as one. There will be German refreshments following the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Padre Pio Prayer Group Gathering

  MH900048039August, 2017 is dedicated to The Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Special feasts for August include:  The Transfiguration (8/6), St. Dominic (8/8), St. Clare (8/11), St. Maximilian Kolbe (8/14), the Assumption (8/15), the Queenship of Mary (8/22),  St. Rose of Lima (8/23), and the Passion of St. John the Baptist (8/29).  The Holy Father’s Intentions for August:  Artists:  That artists of our time, through their ingenuity, may help everyone discover the beauty of creation.

 
The maternal anxiety of the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the souls going to hell had profoundly and completely invaded the heart of Padre Pio, who made of his whole life a great sacrifice to our Lord to snatch souls away from eternal damnation.  “Love our Lady, make others love her.  Always say your Rosary and recite it always.  And recite it as much as you can.” ~ St. Padre Pio.

Ginormous Fundraiser Yard Sale

On Friday July the 21st and Saturday July the 22nd starting at 9:00 am there will be a ginormous yard sale at 701 N. Main street, the former Washington school building. There will be something for every one- tools, furniture appliances, clothing, toys, and so much more. It is all apart of raising funds for listener supported WTKC 897.
