Memorial Service for Aborted Children– Saint Joseph Parish On Saturday, September 14, pro-life Americans throughout the country will gather at the grave sites of aborted babies and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor for the seventh annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. Solemn vigils will be held at these sites to commemorate the more than 60 million children who have lost their lives to legal abortion since 1973, and to remind our society of the humanity of the unborn child. Monument. Meet after Mass in the parking lot of church closest to Lourdes.
More Info: We will process reciting the Rosary to the Memorial. There will be a short memorial service. Refreshments will be served after the event in the Portico closest to the monument. Together let us remember the victims of abortion and pray for a final end to this injustice in our land during the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.

The hours for Pilgrim Church’s Food Pantry, located at 1375 W. Sylvania Ave., in Toledo, Ohio, will change as of Thursday August 29, 2019.  As of this date, the pantry will ONLY be open on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Zip codes served remain the same:  43606, 43610, 43611, 43612, 43613, & 43620.  ID with current address (or ID & something that shows current address) & proof of how many are in the family (medical cards or social security cards of all others in the household) is required.  Folks living in the above zip codes may visit one time per month. 

Sunday School Registration is underway! Sunday School is for children ages 3-6 and will be during the 10:00 a.m. Mass. There will be fall, winter and spring sessions offered and you can register for 1 or all 3. Please see website.

The Flanders Road Church of Christ, 5130 Flanders Road, Toledo, will be having a clothing giveaway on September 21, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  There will be clothing for men, women and children.  Everyone is welcome.

They need volunteers to hand out shoes, socks and school supplies, run the games, and help with registration. *Parent drivers needed. – 9:00 a.m. Meet at Saint Joseph Parish – 9:10 depart to Helping Hands – 9:30 volunteer at Helping Hands – 11:50 return to Saint Joseph Parish, and enjoy the rest of your Saturday knowing your help was the reason someone smiled today!!!

33 Days to Morning Glory is a Journey to Marian Consecration by Father Michael Gaitley.
The journey is done by reading and meeting weekly for DVD teaching and group discussion.The book takes you to the heart of Jesus through Mary by learning about four spiritual giants: Saint Louis de Montfort, Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Saint Mother Teresa of Calcuttaand Pope Saint John Paul II.Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Pastors Suite on the EastCampus. We will meet for 6 weekly sessions, beginning July 9th and concluding on the Feast of the Assumption (August 15th). The cost of the book is $27.00.
