Thought for the week

Welcome to another beautiful day in paradise. Look with the eyes of your soul and see the beauty in others and you will see you are in paradise. “There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein. When we can live our lives as if it is always the first time—The first time we made love, the first we gazed upon the face of our beloved, the first time we tasted ice cream, the first time we saw a bird—we won’t have to try to experience a sense of gratitude. It will be there, automatically, as a natural response to the beauty and the bounty. And if you want this sense of gratitude to develop into a habit of gratitude to grace your life, it is essential that you develop the belief that you are here on Earth to fulfill some purpose that only you can offer to the world. You are an amazingly rare, totally non-replicable individual with talents and gifts that the world anxiously needs. The more that you experience the truth of your uniqueness and beauty, the more you will feel gratitude for your particular gifts and the more you will be able to deliver those gifts. Have a great week filled with gratitude.

TOLEDO, Ohio:
Today, here in Toledo and in a small number of Ohio communities abortion rights activist groups, NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio, Planned Parenthood and Capital Care Network, will stage media attention events. Sadly, their message is full of misinformation concerning the life-affirming work of the Ohio General Assembly in adopting Senate Bill 23, the Human Rights and Heartbeat Protection Act.

Good Day Everyone!

Welcome to another beautiful day in the neighborhood. It’s beautiful because you’re my neighbor and you’re part of it.

Subject: A LOVELY ATTITUDE!

Bank Account

A 92-year-old, well-poised and proud man, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o’clock, with his hair fashionably coiffed and shave perfectly applied, even though he is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. His wife of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, he smiled sweetly when told his room was ready.

Kairos Prison Ministry Weekend #33

Kairos Prison ministry weekend #32 is behind us now, and 23 men have heard and seen the Love that our God has for them. Some of their lives were changed, and all of them have a lot more thinking to do about the role God plays in their lives. One resident from the weekend said that he read the Bible every day and went to church, but it wasn’t until Kairos that he had the Love of God shown to him! We planted the seed, and God will take it from here!

We are now looking forward to weekend #33 that will take place at the end of September. We are actively seeking volunteers that want to play a part in this life changing ministry as well as churches and congregations that we can share the ministry with in hopes of getting them to pray for and support the Kairos team and community. Please take a look: www.kairostoledo.com  and email sponsorship@kairostoledo.com to get in touch with us! We’re looking forward to hearing from you!!
