Caribbean Steel Orchestra Steel Pan Camp

Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 4930 Flanders Rd., Toledo, OH 43623..*Caribbean Steel Orchestra Steel Pan Camp, Tues., Aug. 13-Sat., Aug. 17, Children ages 12-18 years old (20 participants). The Steel Drum Camp is $40. Participants will be taught the rudiments of the pan. They will be taught to play and will perform with the band at  the concert on August 18. Youth Biking To Enable the Disabled

Tyler Garn, is part of a fraternity at the University of Toledo called Pi Kappa Phi (πκφ). His fraternity has its own national philanthropy, called “The Ability Experience”, which allows them to be a helping hand for people with disabilities. For example, last spring, they went to the Sunshine Home in Maumee and built a boardwalk so that people who use wheelchairs or walkers can enjoy the outdoors. Through “The Ability Experience”, God opened the door to a greater way to impact through improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
